Yet each one emphasizes different strengths, from composable signage architecture to deep operational autonomy and workplace-wide intelligence. Together, they mark a shift from traditional CMS tools to AI-first control layers that connect content, devices, data, and business systems. For AV and IT teams under pressure to support bigger, more complex networks, the question is no longer whether to adopt AI, but which operational model and integration strategy will fit existing technology stacks.
Navori Qompose: Composable Architecture for Mixed-Fleet Networks
Navori’s new Qompose platform merges the heritage of Navori and SignageLive into a single composable signage architecture that connects content, devices, data sources, and AI workflows. Built as a modular, headless, API-first stack, it allows partners to build custom applications, link third-party systems, and design vertical-specific workflows on top of a common core. A Universal Player replaces separate Web, Windows, and Android players, reducing fragmentation and simplifying mixed-fleet deployments across hardware generations and vendors. The platform is AI-first: AI agents, automation, external data, and business systems can interact directly with the signage network to drive autonomous content management and optimization. Enterprises can plug in their own models or embedded large language models, while usage-based token pricing aligns the platform with broader SaaS consumption patterns. Navori also adds a new Studio UI plus the option for fully custom HTML frontends, giving customers control over how teams design and manage experiences.
Korbyt Anywhere: Automating Uptime and Publishing Workflows
Korbyt extends its Korbyt Anywhere platform with Screendetective and Launchpad 2.0, targeting enterprise display automation across large, distributed networks. Screendetective tackles a basic but costly problem: knowing when a screen has gone black, frozen, or stopped showing content correctly. It performs continuous monitoring at configurable intervals and can trigger automated fixes, helping teams move from reactive help desk tickets to proactive uptime management. Launchpad 2.0 focuses on the content side of autonomous content management. The redesigned authoring environment introduces centralized themes so administrators define brand standards once, while non-technical users such as HR or branch managers publish compliant content without IT involvement. According to Korbyt’s chief product officer Travis Kemp, the goal is to help teams "do more with fewer resources" while improving performance and usability. Managed service partners can also use Screendetective to reduce truck rolls and deliver proactive monitoring as a service.
NetSpeek Lena: Operational AI and Autonomous AV Environments
NetSpeek’s Lena platform frames AI digital signage as part of a wider AI-native control layer for AV and unified communications, with autonomous operational capabilities at its core. Lena detects issues across multi-vendor devices, UC platforms, and network equipment, determines root causes, and executes remediation workflows with little or no human intervention. At InfoComm, the company is showing Lena identifying active problems, troubleshooting across AV endpoints and collaboration platforms, and taking corrective action within administrator-defined guardrails. Different autonomy levels let enterprises choose between fully automated resolution and human-in-the-loop approvals. A new memory framework adds historical operational context across devices, rooms, and users, allowing the system to spot patterns and improve over time. According to NetSpeek CEO Erik DeGiorgi, operations teams overwhelmed by alerts and dashboards need "operational AI that can understand what’s happening" and drive resolutions autonomously so support can scale without linear headcount growth.
Appspace and Spectrio: Vendor-Agnostic AI and Experience Intelligence
Two other players focus on vendor-agnostic AI integration and data-driven experiences. Appspace’s Bring Your Own Model (BYOM) feature routes AI requests through a customer’s existing investments, such as Microsoft Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, or Google Gemini, addressing concerns about vendor lock-in and governance. This approach extends AI beyond signage into communications, knowledge discovery, workplace services, space booking, and visitor management, turning Appspace into a broader workplace intelligence platform rather than a single-purpose CMS. Spectrio, by contrast, centers on its Intelligent Engagement Suite, which unifies signage, audio, scent, data, and engagement tools into orchestrated physical environments. Its “Oasis in the Desert” installation shows interactive retail, dynamic menu boards, Wi-Fi-based engagement, audience analytics, and context-aware content triggers that transform displays into a real-time engagement layer. As Elizabeth Purkiss notes, businesses need a "unified ecosystem" that delivers measurable, high-impact experiences instead of disconnected technologies.
