Taichi at 10: From Flagship Boards to a Full Enthusiast Ecosystem

ASRock’s Taichi 10th anniversary celebration is a hardware launch event and brand retrospective that highlights how Taichi expanded from flagship motherboards into a full family of enthusiast-grade components, including Intel and AMD motherboards, graphics cards, power supplies, displays, and liquid coolers, all gathered as Computex 2026 products aimed at high-end PC builders. The company lined its booth with every major Taichi board from the original X99 and X370 up to the latest platforms, underscoring how the series became ASRock’s hallmark for clean design and high specifications. What began as a way to court overclockers now forms a coherent ecosystem, where a Taichi anniversary edition motherboard can be paired with matching GPUs, PSUs, and cooling. For long-time fans, the exhibit doubled as a history lesson and a collector’s guide, while newcomers saw a concise snapshot of ASRock’s high-end direction.

New Taichi Anniversary Motherboards for Intel and AMD

ASRock placed Taichi motherboards at the center of its anniversary line-up, updating both Intel and AMD platforms. The X870E Taichi 10th Anniversary Edition arrives ready for Ryzen on AM5, with a 24+2+1 power phase design, 10G Ethernet, dual PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, and a 64 MB ROM for firmware. According to Wccftech, “ASRock is showcasing the new X870E & Intel Z890 Taichi 10th Anniversary designs” with refreshed heatsinks and reflective IO and SSD shrouds. A new X870E Taichi White variant targets white-themed builds while keeping the same enthusiast-class feature set. On the Intel side, the Z890 Taichi 10th Anniversary board mirrors the visual overhaul so builders on either platform can use matching Taichi anniversary edition hardware. Together, these Intel AMD motherboards reinforce Taichi’s position as ASRock’s flagship line for overclockers and power users.

Taichi Anniversary GPUs and Safer Power Supplies

Graphics cards and power supplies form the next pillar of the Taichi anniversary range. ASRock introduced the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi 10th Anniversary graphics card, featuring a boost clock of 3100 MHz and a triple-fan cooler fed by a single 12V-2×6 connector. A white-themed RX 9070 XT Taichi joins the line, mixing black and white accents for builders who want color-coordinated systems. ASRock also revealed a single-slot AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 with 32 GB of VRAM and passive cooling for compact or professional builds that prioritize density and low noise. On the PSU side, the Taichi TC-1650T and TC-1300T 10th Anniversary Edition units add TempGuard, which can detect an overheating 12V-2×6 cable and shut the system down to avoid damage, aligning the power delivery story with the power-hungry GPUs they are meant to support.

High-End AIO Cooling: Dual-Pump Aqua and Holographic Holo

Cooling is another major focus, with ASRock moving the Taichi brand further into high-end AIO territory. The Taichi Aqua 360 LCD is the headline high-end AIO cooler, using a dual-pump design, a transparent water channel, and a built-in flow indicator, plus G1/4" expansion ports for users who want to extend or modify the loop. Its two-layer block design puts a transparent RGB-lit enclosure beneath a movable LCD panel, which can also be mounted elsewhere in the case thanks to a magnetic cover and included holder. The Taichi 360 HOLO, meanwhile, is a premium 10th Anniversary AIO with a spinning, customizable holographic display on the pump top and an integrated fan aimed at motherboard VRMs, supported by 0dB operation when the CPU is idle. Together, these high-end AIO cooler options give Taichi builders matching liquid cooling for their anniversary boards and GPUs.

New Taichi OLED Monitors Complete the Anniversary Lineup

ASRock rounded out its Taichi anniversary edition hardware with high-end displays, turning the brand into a full-system option. Three Taichi-series monitors—TCO27USA, TCO27QXA, and TCO27QXB—bring OLED and QD-OLED panels into the line. Wccftech reports that the first two models target 4K at 240 Hz and 2K at 500 Hz, respectively, both using QD-OLED for improved color and contrast, with 99% DCI-P3 coverage and Delta E < 2 color accuracy. The third display reaches an ultra-fast 540 Hz using RGB Tandem OLED technology to push brightness and clarity for competitive gaming. Paired with Taichi graphics cards and motherboards, these screens turn the anniversary into a complete platform story: builders can assemble systems where the display, GPU, board, cooler, and PSU all share Taichi styling and enthusiast-grade specifications.
