A Decade of Taichi: From Flagship Boards to a Full Gaming Ecosystem

ASRock’s Taichi 10th Anniversary lineup is a family of premium gaming and creator products, spanning motherboards, Taichi OLED monitors, liquid cooler AIO solutions, and GPUs, designed to celebrate a decade of engineering around a single flagship brand. Born with the X99 Taichi motherboard in 2016, the Taichi name has grown from a single high-end board into a broader ecosystem that now includes displays, cooling and AI-focused hardware. At Computex 2026, ASRock built a dedicated history zone and a “10th Anniversary” suite to underline that evolution. According to ASRock’s official announcement, the new X870E Taichi 10th Anniversary and Z890 Taichi 10th Anniversary boards share core specifications with their current counterparts but add upgraded heatsinks and reflective IO shrouds aimed at collectors. Around them, ASRock is building a connected platform where displays, coolers and boards share a visual language and performance tier for ultra-high-end gaming.

Taichi OLED Monitors Push 4K, 540Hz and Dual-Mode Refresh

ASRock’s new Taichi OLED monitors form the visual centerpiece of its gaming hardware showcase at Computex 2026, targeting players who demand both resolution and extreme refresh rates. The lineup mixes QD-OLED and Tandem OLED panels, with multiple models offering “Dual Mode” to switch between sharpness and responsiveness. The Taichi TC027USB is a 27-inch Tandem OLED at native 4K 240Hz, with an optional 1080p 480Hz mode and a 0.03ms GTG response time, plus 99% DCI-P3 coverage and AMD FreeSync Pro. The Taichi TCO27QXB pushes 1440p up to 540Hz, or 720p at a staggering 720Hz, and is DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified. Quantum Dot OLED options include the 27-inch 1440p TCO27QXA at 500Hz, and the TCO27USA, a 27-inch 4K QD-OLED at 240Hz available in both black and white housings, aimed at ultra-high-end gamers and creators.

Anniversary and White Taichi Motherboards for Intel and AMD

Motherboards remain the heart of the Taichi story, and the 10th Anniversary collection reflects that with refreshed boards for both Intel and AMD platforms. The X870E Taichi 10th Anniversary and Z890 Taichi 10th Anniversary retain their high-end specifications but add upgraded heatsinks and a reflective IO cover and SSD faceplate, turning them into display-worthy collector pieces. The headline newcomer is the X870E Taichi White, the first all-white Taichi board, built for themed builds and heavy workloads alike. It features a 24+2+1 power phase design, 10GbE networking and dual PCIe 5.0 x16 slots to support next-generation GPUs. Alongside these flagships, ASRock highlighted the flexible H610M COMBO II, which accepts either DDR4 or DDR5 depending on budget, and the compact Z890I Nova WiFi R2.0, its first board for 4R CUDIMM modules, enabling DDR5 7400 MT/s and up to 256GB memory for dense, AI-ready systems.

Taichi Aqua and Holo: Dual-Pump AIO and Holographic Cooling

ASRock is pushing deeper into high-end liquid cooling with two Taichi-branded liquid cooler AIO designs, both aimed at enthusiasts who want performance and visual flair. The Taichi Aqua 360 LCD is the new flagship, built around a dual-pump engine and a transparent water channel that exposes coolant flow. It adds an integrated mechanical flow indicator and standard G1/4" fittings, making it unusually expandable for an AIO. The waterblock uses a two-layer structure, with a transparent RGB-lit chamber below and a magnetic LCD panel above, plus a separate LCD holder so the screen can be positioned anywhere on a metal surface. The Taichi 360 Holo takes a different approach, adding a front-facing holographic effect on the pump cover using persistence-of-vision style visuals. It includes a dedicated VRM fan and 0dB support so pump fans can stay silent when the CPU load is low.

AI-Ready PCs: GPUs, Memory Innovations and Compact AI Systems

Beyond headline Taichi OLED monitors and ASRock motherboards, the company is using the anniversary to frame Taichi as an AI-capable hardware platform. On the memory side, ASRock highlighted support for 4R CUDIMM and DDR5 One Sub channel technologies, with the Z890I Nova WiFi R2.0 enabling up to 256GB of DDR5 at 7400 MT/s in a compact form factor that suits AI inference or content creation rigs. The Taichi ecosystem also extends to anniversary GPUs and white graphics options, visually matching the X870E Taichi White for cohesive builds. ASRock is complementing its premium Taichi AQUA 360 LCD and Taichi 360 HOLO coolers with a broader Rock series line targeting quieter, long-life mainstream PCs. Together, these pieces form an AI-focused hardware stack where high-speed displays, advanced cooling and PCIe 5.0 GPU support are aligned for future game engines, media workflows and local AI workloads.
