Taichi at 10: From Flagship Boards to a Full PC Ecosystem
ASRock’s Taichi 10th Anniversary celebration at Computex 2026 is a milestone event that highlights how the Taichi label has grown from a single line of flagship motherboards into a broad ecosystem of high-end PC components spanning Intel and AMD platforms, graphics cards, displays, power supplies and liquid cooling hardware. Launched in 2016 on Intel X99 and Z170 chipsets, Taichi quickly became ASRock’s enthusiast badge, with distinctive aesthetics and feature-heavy designs that helped the brand stand out to PC builders. To mark the decade, ASRock built a display that traces Taichi from its X99 and AMD X370 origins through to the latest Intel AMD motherboards, underscoring how the design language has stayed consistent even as features have expanded. For long-time builders, the exhibit was both a history lesson and a reminder of how much enthusiast hardware has changed.

New Taichi Anniversary Motherboards for Intel and AMD
Motherboards remain the core of the Taichi identity, so ASRock put them front and center for the 10th anniversary. The company introduced new X870E Taichi 10th Anniversary Edition boards for AMD’s AM5 platform and Z890 Taichi Anniversary designs for Intel, giving fans commemorative options on both sides of the aisle. According to Wccftech, these ASRock Taichi motherboards keep the core specifications of their standard counterparts but add upgraded heatsinks and a reflective finish over the rear IO and M.2 area for a more premium look. A standout is the X870E Taichi White, a fully white board with a 24+2+1 phase power design, dual PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and 10 GbE LAN, aimed at high-end, white-theme builds. Another X870E Taichi 10th Anniversary model combines a 24+2+1 power system with 110A SPS stages, 10G Ethernet, dual USB4 ports and a 64MB ROM to prepare for current and future Ryzen chips.

Taichi GPUs and Power for High-End PC Components
ASRock expanded the Taichi anniversary edition hardware beyond motherboards with new GPUs and power supplies. The Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi 10th Anniversary graphics card aligns visually with the boards, using a large triple-fan cooler and a single 12V-2×6 connector while pushing up to a 3100 MHz boost clock, positioning it among the faster RX 9070 XT designs. ASRock also prepared a white-themed RX 9070 XT Taichi, blending black and white elements for builders who favor lighter color schemes. On the professional side, the firm displayed a single-slot AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 with 32 GB of VRAM and passive cooling, tailored for dense workstation or AI deployments. Supporting these high-end PC components are Taichi TC-1650T and TC-1300T 10th Anniversary PSUs, both fully modular and equipped with TempGuard, which can shut down the system if the 12V-2×6 cable overheats to help prevent damage.

Dual-Pump Aqua AIO and Holographic Taichi Cooling
Cooling is a major part of the refreshed Taichi ecosystem, with ASRock pushing into more premium territory. The Taichi Aqua 360 LCD is the new flagship AIO, featuring a transparent water channel, a built-in flow indicator and standard G1/4" expansion ports for custom-friendly flexibility. Its dual-pump design feeds a two-layer waterblock where the lower section handles cooling hardware and the upper section carries an LCD panel inside a transparent RGB-lit shell. ASRock includes a magnetic LCD holder so users can reposition the display inside the case. Alongside Aqua sits the Taichi 360 HOLO 10th Anniversary cooler, which uses a spinning holographic display on the pump top that can be customized with images and animations. The HOLO version also adds a small VRM fan and supports 0 dB operation when the CPU is idle, giving builders a mix of visual flair and practical motherboard cooling.

QD-OLED Taichi Displays Extend the Brand Beyond Boards
The Taichi name now extends onto displays, with ASRock debuting three new monitors aimed at enthusiasts who want high refresh rates and strong color performance. The TCO27USA and TCO27QXA use QD-OLED panels, offering modes up to 4K at 240 Hz or 2K at 500 Hz, plus 99% DCI-P3 coverage and claimed color accuracy of Delta E below 2. A third model, the TCO27QXB, reaches an ultra-fast 540 Hz using RGB Tandem OLED technology, which is designed to maintain high brightness and sharp motion clarity at extreme refresh rates. Together, these screens bring Taichi’s design and performance focus from the motherboard tray to the desktop, tying into the wider Taichi ecosystem of Intel AMD motherboards, GPUs and cooling. With Computex 2026 hardware spanning nearly every category, ASRock’s anniversary effort signals that Taichi has evolved into a complete platform for enthusiast builds.
