XTEN-AV started as an AI-powered AV design and proposal engine and is now expanding into connected post-install operations. Its X-PRO Service framework pulls service calls, maintenance tasks, technician scheduling and recurring support into the same environment used for design, documentation and project delivery. According to XTEN-AV, most service work today is scattered across spreadsheets, email threads, calendars and standalone ticketing tools, which leaves teams with limited visibility. By tying those processes into one connected AV operations platform, XTEN-AV aims to turn projects into long-term, data-driven service relationships. For AV integrators and enterprise AV teams, this approach reduces context switching between point tools and ties every service action back to the original system design. It also positions XTEN-AV as a bridge between project-centric workflows and continuous AV lifecycle management, with AI guiding both design decisions and downstream support tasks.

dBTechnologies Brings Installed Audio into the Cloud

dBTechnologies is pushing installed audio into the cloud with its Aurora Cloud PaaS and IS Series loudspeakers. Aurora Cloud extends the company’s Aurora Net software into a cloud-based audio visual environment for remote monitoring, device management and data analysis of professional audio systems. The platform is aimed at system integrators and rental companies that need connected, data-driven workflows and full visibility of their fleets. Real-time alerts report disconnections or anomalies, while scheduled reports support documentation and verification activities. On the hardware side, the IS Series aligns loudspeakers, IA Series amplifiers and control into one cohesive platform, designed for permanent installations where audio performance and consistency across zones are priorities. Together, Aurora Cloud and IS Series illustrate how cloud-based audio visual systems can move from isolated DSP programming to integrated, multi-site AV management platforms with proactive oversight.

Xyte and Utelogy Push Automation and Service-as-Software

Xyte and Utelogy are both centering automation as the next phase of enterprise AV operations, but they attack the problem from different angles. Xyte’s new command-line tool, Xyte CLI, gives IT teams and AI agents a shared interface to operate connected device fleets, from checking firmware versions to enforcing governance with human-confirmed actions and full audit trails. Its expanded Workflows and Automations allow enterprises and managed service providers to schedule and centralize device tasks across rooms and sites. Utelogy, meanwhile, is promoting a Service-as-Software model, where AV management behaves like a digital workforce that monitors rooms, diagnoses issues and resolves incidents autonomously. Built on a large base of devices under management and vendor-agnostic control, Utelogy’s platform aims to reduce truck rolls and downtime by turning AV automation software into an always-on service layer for AV/UC and IoT environments.

Disguise Connects Immersive Workflows Across the Stack

Disguise is extending its role beyond media servers into a broader AV management platform for immersive environments. The latest version of Mapping Matter, its web-based projection mapping tool, adds an extended projector library, LED tile and projection mirror options, plus layered project files for comparing setups. Disguise is also integrating with Smart Monkeys’ ISAAC platform so operators can access, schedule and monitor Disguise systems through a browser alongside the rest of their AV stack. New Designer features, Looks and Compositions, expose content and brightness parameters via API endpoints and package them for playback and media lifecycle management. With four servers, including the VX range and portable X1 software solution, appearing across partner booths, Disguise is positioning its cloud-based audio visual workflow as part of a collaborative ecosystem. The trend mirrors the wider industry shift: content, control and monitoring are moving into shared, API-driven environments rather than isolated show-control systems.
