In plain terms, tasks that Fable 5 used to cleanly debug or safely refactor now fail or get diverted, forcing developers to wrestle with weaker output and more manual fixes. For ordinary subscribers, the relaunch mixes tighter censorship with tougher economics. Anthropic restored Fable 5 across its platform, web app, and coding tools once export restrictions were lifted. Yet access is gated: Pro, Max, Team, and selected Enterprise users can only apply up to 50% of their weekly usage limits to Fable 5 through July 7, after which they must buy separate credits to keep using it.
