Check Your Galaxy Phone and Install Good Lock

GSMArena notes that the network speed indicator through QuickStar is “currently only supported on One UI 9,” so older interface versions will not see the toggle. In the same QuickStar module where you enabled the network speed indicator, look for a setting called Ongoing Chip. Android Authority explains that this “controls the Now Bar, which shows live activities for things like timers, incoming and ongoing calls, voice recordings, and more.” If you disable this Ongoing Chip toggle, Now Bar elements stop appearing at the top of the screen, reducing clutter and distractions. This is useful if you prefer a clean status bar or rely on full-screen apps where constant activity chips get in the way. You can return to QuickStar at any time to turn Ongoing Chip back on and restore those live indicators when you need quick access to active tasks.
