Microsoft also highlights a dramatic load-time gain: in Forza Horizon 6 on a Radeon RX 9060, Advanced Shader Delivery reduces the initial load from 1.5 minutes to four seconds, a 95% improvement that shows how powerful pre-compilation can be.

AMD Radeon Support Today, Nvidia and Intel to Follow
Microsoft has now rolled out Advanced Shader Delivery to all Xbox PC app users with AMD RDNA-based GPUs, transforming what used to be a limited beta into a broad shader stutter fix for Radeon owners. Every AMD Radeon card from the RX 5000 series onward is covered, including RDNA, RDNA 2, RDNA 3, RDNA 3.5, and RDNA 4 hardware, as long as users install AMD Software Adrenalin 26.6.1 or newer as their GPU driver update. Nvidia RTX owners will need to wait until later this year for official ASD support, though Nvidia’s own app already offers Auto Shader Compilation to preserve shaders across driver updates. Intel has also committed to supporting ASD. For now, the main limitation is that Advanced Shader Delivery only works with games launched through the Xbox PC app, leaving Steam and other launchers outside the ecosystem.
