From Case Maker To Full PC Component Ecosystem

HYTE’s latest Computex components mark a strategic shift from being known mainly for striking PC cases to positioning itself as a complete PC cooling and customization brand, centered on a coordinated ecosystem of fans, lighting, control hubs, and PC case accessories that can unify both performance and aesthetics in modern custom builds. After the Y50 RGB case reveal, the company used Computex 2026 to introduce HYTE PC fans, cable kits, and RGB lighting strips that are designed to work across its growing case catalog. HYTE links these parts through standard PWM and ARGB support, avoiding lock-in to proprietary controllers. According to GameSpace, HYTE is now “building the ecosystem around” its enclosures, turning the Y50 RGB from a standalone showpiece into the visible hub of a broader system of PC cooling solutions and visual upgrades for enthusiasts and DIY builders.

THICC FR12 And FA-12 G2: HYTE PC Fans As The New Core

The headline additions are HYTE’s first ARGB performance fans, the THICC FR12 series. These 32 mm-thick 120 mm fans come in Solo and Trio formats, with traditional or reverse-blade options and black or white finishes, giving builders more control over airflow direction and visual symmetry. HYTE lists up to 57.14 CFM of airflow and 4.44 mm H2O of static pressure, while the Trio frame packs 68 LEDs to create 360-degree illumination across a radiator or front intake. Daisy-chaining and universal PWM/ARGB headers keep installation straightforward. Alongside them, refreshed FA-12 G2 fans add a quieter, hybrid-blade option with fluid dynamic bearings. HYTE positions FA-12 G2 as the practical match for users who want a consistent look across a HYTE build without sacrificing everyday cooling efficiency or clean cable routing.

Smart Hub Control: Nexus Software And Dense RGB Builds

To support more complex PC cooling solutions, HYTE is introducing an ARGB/PWM Smart Hub aimed at systems packed with fans and RGB lighting strips. The hub is magnetic for simple mounting and drives both ARGB and PWM, giving builders centralized control inside cramped mid-tower layouts. It can manage four independent PWM headers and connects into HYTE’s Nexus software through a dedicated ID chip, turning it from a basic splitter into a small controller for fan curves and lighting behavior. Overclock3D notes that the Smart Hub is designed for “ARGB and PWM signals” with standard header compatibility, meaning it can work with non-HYTE components as well. Priced at USD 29.99 (approx. RM140), HYTE places this hub as the control brain of its new ecosystem, especially when paired with multi-fan frames like the THICC FR12 Trio.

ARGB Noodle LN80 And Cable Extensions: Tidy Light And Color-Matched Power

On the visual side, HYTE is refining its ARGB Noodle LN80 for easier ambient lighting in and around its cases. The updated strip offers 215-degree glow in a flexible form that can contour neatly around the Y40, Y60, Y70, and the new Y50 RGB, and it plugs into standard 3-pin ARGB headers with no proprietary hardware. Alongside these RGB lighting strips, HYTE’s Aesthetic Cable Extension Kits give builders color-matched sleeved extensions for 12V-2×6 GPU, PCIe, CPU, and motherboard power leads. Available in snow white, pitch black, strawberry milk, and taro milk, the kits are priced at USD 69.99 (approx. RM325), turning otherwise plain PSU leads into part of the build’s design. Together, Noodle LN80 and the extension kits transform cable routing and edge lighting from a chore into another layer of customization.

Y50 RGB As Flagship Anchor For HYTE’s Next Phase

All these Computex 2026 components orbit around the Y50 RGB case, which now acts as the flagship anchor for HYTE’s ecosystem. The case is positioned as the visual centerpiece, while THICC FR12 and FA-12 G2 fans, the Smart Hub, ARGB Noodle LN80, and the cable extensions fill in cooling, control, and cosmetic gaps. This approach turns HYTE from a case-first brand into a one-stop option for PC case accessories and coordinated parts that cover airflow, lighting, and cable appearance. For builders, the appeal lies in universal headers instead of proprietary locks, plus styling that matches HYTE’s existing Y-series enclosures. With most of the lineup landing in Q3 2026, HYTE is clearly betting that future systems built around the Y50 RGB will be configured as full HYTE ecosystems rather than mixes of unrelated third-party components.
