Xiaomi has officially locked in a May 28 launch date for the Xiaomi 17T series, confirming that both the 17T and 17T Pro will debut together as a major refresh to the T lineup. The company is already teasing the phones as its “biggest T Series upgrade yet”, highlighting a Leica-tuned triple camera module housed in a new square-shaped island on the back. Leaked renders suggest a clean, minimalist design with flat displays and flat rear panels, plus the power and volume buttons placed along the right edge for easy access. The 17T is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED panel with 120Hz refresh, while the 17T Pro reportedly steps up to a 6.83-inch OLED display with an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Both screens are tipped to support Dolby Vision, high-frequency PWM dimming, and peak brightness up to 3,500 nits.
Dimensity 9500 Performance and HyperOS Software
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 17T series is set to lean heavily on MediaTek silicon for flagship-level performance. The spotlight, however, is firmly on the 17T Pro, which is tipped to feature a massive 7,000mAh battery, making it one of the standout 7000mAh battery phone options in the flagship space. This huge capacity is complemented by 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support, promising both endurance and convenience for power users. Ahead of launch, a retailer listing has revealed what appear to be official Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro specs, renders and early pricing. The Xiaomi 17T in a 12GB+256GB configuration is expected to cost 749 euros (about USD 870, approx. RM4,010), while the 17T Pro in a 12GB+512GB configuration is tipped at 999 euros (about USD 1,165, approx. RM5,370). A separate leak from a Russian retailer lists the 17T at RUB 51,625 for the 256GB model and RUB 54,537 for the 512GB variant, with the 17T Pro starting at RUB 68,535 and reaching RUB 81,861 for the 1TB option. These figures place the series firmly in the premium segment, underscoring Xiaomi’s strategy to push the 17T lineup closer to true flagship territory rather than the more aggressive value pricing seen in earlier T-series generations.
