A Decade of ASRock Taichi: From Flagship Boards to Full Ecosystem

The ASRock Taichi anniversary celebration is a milestone event where ASRock highlights ten years of its enthusiast Taichi lineup, spanning from early X99 and X370 motherboards to a complete ecosystem of boards, graphics cards, monitors, power supplies, and cooling gear, all designed to deliver premium features, striking design, and overclocking-ready stability for PC builders. At Computex, ASRock built a nostalgic display that traced Taichi’s evolution, underlining how the series helped move the brand into the enthusiast spotlight. According to Overclock3D, the booth included classic Taichi models that “still look great” years after launch, reinforcing the timeless appeal of the gear that defined the range. This anniversary is less about a single product and more about showing how Taichi has grown into ASRock’s seal for enthusiast-grade hardware across multiple categories.

Taichi Motherboards for Intel and AMD: Special Editions and White Designs

Motherboards remain the heart of the ASRock Taichi anniversary. At Computex 2026 ASRock presented Taichi motherboards for both Intel and AMD platforms, including X870E and Z890 Taichi 10th Anniversary designs that keep the core specifications of their standard versions while gaining upgraded heatsinks and a polished reflective finish over the I/O shroud and SSD covers. On the AMD side, the X870E Taichi 10th Anniversary Edition stands out with 10G Ethernet, dual USB4 ports, a 64 MB ROM, and a 24+2+1 power phase design paired with 110A SPS for VCORE and SOC, making it ready for current and next-gen Ryzen processors. ASRock also displayed an X870E Taichi White variant, combining the same high-end VRM setup and dual PCIe 5.0 x16 GPU slots with an all-white aesthetic aimed at themed builds.

Aqua AIO Cooler and Taichi HOLO: High-End Cooling for the Anniversary

Cooling was a major focus of the ASRock Taichi anniversary lineup, led by the new Taichi Aqua 360 LCD AIO and a 10th Anniversary edition of the Taichi 360 HOLO cooler. The Aqua AIO steps into premium territory with a dual-pump design, a transparent water channel, a built-in flow indicator, and G1/4" expansion ports for more advanced loops. Its CPU block uses a two-layer layout: a transparent RGB-lit enclosure on top and an LCD panel beneath, plus a magnetic LCD cover and separate holder so users can reposition the display on any metal surface in or around the case. The Taichi 360 HOLO focuses on visual flair, using a customizable front-facing holographic effect on the pump top and adding a dedicated VRM fan with 0 dB support when CPU load is low, balancing silence with motherboard cooling.

Taichi Anniversary GPUs and TempGuard-Equipped Power Supplies

ASRock’s GPU and PSU lines also joined the Taichi special edition celebration. The headline graphics card is the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi 10th Anniversary model, which pairs a high 3100 MHz boost clock with a large triple-fan cooler and a single 12V-2×6 power connector, positioned as one of the faster RX 9070 XT variants. Wccftech notes that ASRock is also preparing a white-themed RX 9070 XT Taichi and a single-slot Radeon AI PRO R9700 with 32 GB of VRAM in a passively cooled design, broadening the Taichi ecosystem from gaming to professional workloads. On the power side, the Taichi TC-1650T and TC-1300T 10th Anniversary Edition PSUs add a practical safety feature: TempGuard tech that monitors the 12V-2×6 cable for overheating and can shut down the system to prevent potential damage.

OLED Taichi Displays Round Out the Anniversary Lineup

To complete the Taichi anniversary ecosystem, ASRock expanded the brand into high-end OLED displays. Three new Taichi monitors were shown: the TCO27USA, TCO27QXA, and TCO27QXB. According to Wccftech, the first two models combine QD-OLED panels with fast gaming modes, offering 4K at 240 Hz and 2K at 500 Hz respectively, each rated for 99% DCI-P3 coverage and Delta E < 2 color accuracy. The third, TCO27QXB, pushes refresh rates to an ultra-fast 540 Hz using RGB Tandem OLED technology aimed at esports-level responsiveness with higher brightness and sharper motion clarity. Together, these displays signal Taichi’s move beyond motherboards into a full platform that now includes Taichi motherboards Intel AMD users can pair with matching GPUs, coolers, PSUs, and monitors as part of a single design language.
