The new editor replaces the legacy BodyPaint 3D-based system with a toolset that supports professional unwrapping, packing, organizing, and UDIM workflows directly inside Cinema 4D, reducing the need to bounce to external tools. A key improvement is that many of the selection and transformation tools now behave almost identically in both 3D and UV modes, so modelers do not have to relearn basic operations when switching contexts.
