There are risks—channel overload, superficial oversight, misplaced trust in agents—but the old model of isolated developer‑to‑bot chats was worse, because it hid the automation that increasingly shapes codebases. Moving that work into the open, with audit logs, self‑archiving project channels, and inherited workspace permissions, is a meaningful upgrade to software team accountability.
