Mini-ITX power is no longer a compromise

Together they show that compact PC builds are no longer experiments; they are credible replacements for traditional desktops, including for gaming and content work, while cutting clutter and total system cost.
COLORFUL’s B850I: a Mini-ITX motherboard that means business
The COLORFUL iGame B850I Mini OC is the clearest sign yet that Mini-ITX motherboards have graduated from novelty to serious hardware. Machenike sells this configuration—with 16 GB of DDR5 and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD—for 4,699 yuan (USD 690). That price-to-capability ratio was unthinkable in such a small form factor desktop a few years ago. Fewer parts mean lower bill of materials, less power draw, and simpler thermals. For budget-conscious builders and IT buyers, the message is blunt: you may not need a dedicated graphics card anymore, especially if your workloads sit between everyday productivity and mid-range gaming.

Sub-liter cases prove size is no longer performance destiny
The GTR mini PC’s 0.74-liter volume is more than a design flex; it is proof that ultra-compact chassis can house real performance. Its MER 1.0 cooling system uses a single fan and dual heat pipes to keep a stable 65 W output and handle peaks up to 70 W under heavy workloads. That is enough thermal headroom for sustained CPU and GPU use, so this tiny box does not have to throttle at the first sign of stress.
