In the iOS 27 developer beta, Spatial Reframing appears under a tool named Reframe, sitting alongside Extend and an upgraded Clean Up. Clean Up focuses on erasing distractions and replacing them with plausible surroundings. Extend does the opposite of cropping: it adds breathing room around your subject, with AI continuing patterns like sky, walls, or pavement. Reframe is where the generative AI photography magic feels most dramatic. Because Spatial Reframing can make it look like you stood somewhere you never actually were, it raises fair questions about authenticity. This is different from exposure or color tweaks; you are altering the geometry of the moment. On the other hand, the feature edits only the periphery, keeping core subjects and actions unchanged. For casual shooting, it feels closer to correcting a near-miss than fabricating a scene.
