Aderant's Agent Center Brings AI-Powered Automation to Professional Services Operations

Agent Center Debuts as the Next Step in Firm Operations

Aderant has unveiled the Aderant Agent Center at its Momentum Global 2026 conference, positioning it as the next evolution of firm operations built on the Stridyn platform. Powered by AI assistant MADDI, the Agent Center is designed as a central hub for AI workflow automation across professional services organizations, with an initial focus on legal firms. Aderant describes the offering as a convergence of intelligent automation, real-time insights, and AI-driven workflows that collectively modernize how firms manage their work-to-cash lifecycle. Rather than treating automation as a series of isolated tools, the Agent Center embodies Aderant’s broader Stridyn strategy: a unified platform approach that can coordinate tasks and decisions across finance, billing, and talent management. The launch signals Aderant’s intent to make professional services automation a core capability of Stridyn, instead of a bolt-on feature or point solution.

How AI Agents Drive Workflow and Task Automation

At the heart of Aderant Agent Center are specialized AI agents that automate and prioritize everyday workflows inside professional services firms. These agents leverage MADDI to interpret firm data, execute structured processes, and surface real-time insights without requiring users to manually coordinate multiple systems. In its first release, the Agent Center includes a collections agent that streamlines collections workflows, intelligently prioritizing actions so teams focus on the highest-impact matters. An appeals agent analyzes e-billing rejections and drafts appeals, helping firms respond quickly and consistently to billing challenges. A talent evaluation agent aggregates matter-level feedback into structured insights, turning fragmented comments into usable performance data. Aderant plans to release ten additional agents following the conference, laying the groundwork for broader AI workflow automation that spans more operational domains such as financial management, client service, and internal collaboration.

Transforming Legal and Professional Services Automation

Aderant is explicitly targeting legal firms and professional services organizations that are seeking to modernize operations and move beyond basic digitization. Lisa Erickson, SVP of product management and AI, notes that firms are shifting from isolated automation projects toward intelligent systems that orchestrate work across the business. With Agent Center, Aderant positions the Stridyn platform as a foundation for coordinated professional services automation, rather than a collection of disconnected modules. The talent evaluation agent is a clear example: instead of partners manually compiling evaluations for hundreds of professionals, the system aggregates feedback and drafts evaluations in seconds or minutes, dramatically reducing administrative overhead. By embedding AI agents directly into operational workflows, Aderant aims to improve decision-making across the work-to-cash lifecycle, from time entry and billing accuracy to collections performance and talent development, creating a more integrated operational model.

Stridyn Ecosystem and the Roadmap for AI Agents

The Agent Center launch also serves as a showcase for the broader Stridyn platform vision. Aderant’s CEO and president, Chris Cartrett, emphasized that this year’s Momentum conference is centered on demonstrating how Stridyn’s promise is being delivered. By building Agent Center directly on Stridyn, Aderant ensures that AI agents can tap into shared data, common services, and unified workflows across the ecosystem. This integration is critical for scaling AI workflow automation beyond individual functions and into firm-wide processes. The roadmap includes ten additional agents following the initial collections, appeals, and talent evaluation agents, suggesting future coverage of more financial, operational, and HR tasks. Momentum’s onsite hackathon, where client-voted ideas are rapidly prototyped, further underlines Aderant’s intention to co-create new agents and capabilities with its user base, keeping Stridyn and Agent Center closely aligned to evolving firm needs.
