This is not a cosmetic integration; it is an explicit attempt to close the gap between bare-metal recovery and governed, high-quality data that is safe for AI to consume. In other words, the backup stack is being refitted as an AI-ready backup solution, and that changes who holds power in the data resilience enterprise market.
