At the core of Summit Everest is a new mid/high section using three patented JBL D2820 2-inch dual-diaphragm, dual-motor compression drivers, feeding a custom patent-pending 3-into-1 expansion manifold and a large-format Sonoglass High-Definition Imaging horn. Below, dual 10-inch Differential Drive mid-bass units and dual 15-inch Differential Drive woofers use triple-layer Hybrid Carbon Cellulose Composite (HC4) cones to combine stiffness with low distortion, configured as a 3.5-way floor-standing system that extends from 20 Hz to beyond 23 kHz. Summit K2 applies the same concept in a slightly more compact structure, pairing three D2815 1.5-inch compression drivers with its own 3-into-1 manifold and HDI horn, plus a 10-inch mid-bass and 15-inch woofer, both with HC4 cones.
