iQOO 15T and Pad 6 Pro Launch: Dual Flagships Push Mobile Gaming and Display Tech

Dual Launch on May 20: A Gaming-Centric Flagship Strategy

iQOO is preparing a coordinated flagship push with the simultaneous launch of the iQOO 15T smartphone and iQOO Pad 6 Pro tablet on May 20. The brand is positioning both devices as performance-first machines, especially for mobile gaming and high-end media consumption. The iQOO 15T is framed as the next mainline flagship phone, while the Pad 6 Pro targets gamers who prefer a larger 4K canvas and longer sessions. Official teasers on social platforms have already highlighted gaming benchmarks, thermal solutions and advanced displays rather than just design or general productivity, underlining how central e-sports and visually demanding titles are to this launch. Alongside the two flagship devices, an iQOO TWS 5i wireless audio product is also expected, but most of the attention is firmly on the new chips, displays and power systems that aim to raise the ceiling for sustained mobile gaming performance.

iQOO 15T Specs: Dimensity 9500 and Self-Developed Q3 Gaming Chip

At the heart of the iQOO 15T specs is MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 "Monster Edition" chipset, co-developed with iQOO and paired with the brand’s Monster super-core engine. This combination is claimed to improve frame-rate stability in games by up to 34 percent, backed by early Genshin Impact testing where the phone reportedly held around 60fps at extreme settings. Complementing the main SoC is iQOO’s self-developed Q3 gaming chip, designed to handle advanced graphics workloads such as full-scene ray tracing, 2K super-resolution and concurrent 2K + 144fps gameplay in supported titles. The phone will run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top and is shaped as a long-session gaming device powered by an 8000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging. Despite this large battery, the chassis remains relatively slim, with a flat display and a distinctive camera island anchoring a more futuristic rear design.

2K Everest Display: LTPO, 144Hz and Eye Comfort for Competitive Play

The iQOO 15T’s 2K Everest display is central to its gaming pitch. It uses a large 6.82-inch OLED panel with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, built on flagship-grade 8T LTPO technology. This enables variable refresh rates to balance fluid animation with power efficiency, a critical factor for long competitive gaming sessions on a mobile device. iQOO also highlights full-screen always-on display capabilities and hardware-level circular polarisation, intended to reduce eye strain when users spend extended time looking at high-brightness content or tiny UI elements in games. The Everest branding underscores the company’s focus on peak clarity and responsiveness, while the Q3 gaming chip adds 2K original image super-resolution and 144fps lossless super-frame concurrency. Together, these hardware and software features position the iQOO 15T as a phone built to keep visuals sharp, movements smooth and thermal throttling under control even during the most demanding titles.

Camera and Battery: 200MP Imaging Meets 8000mAh Endurance

Beyond performance, the iQOO 15T also pushes imaging and battery capacity. On the rear, the phone features a 200-megapixel primary camera with CIPA 4.5-level stabilisation for steadier shots, alongside a 50-megapixel secondary sensor. iQOO says this setup supports 4x lossless zoom and up to 40x hybrid zoom, signalling a strong focus on detail and versatility for travel, events and social content. A 16-megapixel front camera is tuned for clearer selfies and video calls. Powering the package is an 8000mAh battery, the largest yet in an iQOO flagship, paired with 100W wired fast charging for rapid top-ups between gaming sessions. While wireless charging is not expected, the capacity and charging combination should deliver all-day endurance even under heavy use. This blend of a high-resolution camera array and oversized battery aims to ensure the 15T is more than just a dedicated gaming handset.

iQOO Pad 6 Pro Launch: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 4K Gaming Display

Launching alongside the phone, the iQOO Pad 6 Pro is tailored for gamers who want a bigger, sharper canvas. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and shares the Monster super-core engine concept seen on the 15T, achieving an AnTuTu benchmark score above 4.44 million according to the company. Thermal management is handled by a VC+ superconducting graphite system with a total heat dissipation area of 71,446mm², designed to keep performance stable during extended play. The tablet’s headline feature is its 4K Ultra HD gaming display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200-nit HBM brightness and Dolby Vision support. In a national-level shooting game, it can reportedly deliver 4K super-resolution at 120fps in standard mode, and 4K at 144fps in Monster+ mode. For open-world titles, Monster+ mode enables 2.7K super-resolution at 120fps, and the Pad 6 Pro supports 13 native 4K games at launch.
