MSI Computex 2026: A 40th Anniversary Hardware Statement

MSI Computex 2026 refers to the company’s extensive presence at the Nangang Exhibition Center, where it marks its 40th anniversary by presenting high-end motherboards, triple-mode QD-OLED gaming monitors, and Titanium-rated 1600W power supplies targeted at enthusiasts and professional system builders. The expanded booth gathers MSI’s latest components, from flagship AM5 platforms to advanced cooling and airflow-focused cases, forming a coherent vision of next-generation gaming and creator rigs. According to The FPS Review, MSI is “breaking that record again” for Ryzen 9 overclocking on its new MEG X870E UNIFY-X MAX motherboard, underlining a strong focus on performance leadership. Alongside headline products, MSI uses the show to refine usability with cleaner cable routing, simpler mounting systems, and smarter monitoring, aiming to turn its milestone anniversary into a launchpad for the next wave of gaming hardware announcements.

Record-Breaking High-End Motherboards and Advanced Cooling

MSI’s flagship MEG X870E UNIFY-X MAX leads its high-end motherboards at MSI Computex 2026 with a design tuned for record overclocks. The 2-DIMM (1SPC) layout is built to push memory frequencies while keeping stability in check, backed by an 18+2+1 DRPS power stage using 110A Smart Power Stages and an eight-layer server-grade PCB for signal integrity. Storage and networking are equally aggressive, with five M.2 slots, including two PCIe Gen 5, plus Wi-Fi 7 and 5G LAN. A dedicated Tuning Controller lets overclockers adjust key parameters without diving into BIOS menus. Cooling hardware keeps pace: the MEG CORELIQUID E15 360 AIO adds a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED screen and EZ Conn single-cable management, while the MPG CORELIQUID P22 360 and MPG COREFROZR AP15 air cooler focus on quieter fans, tool-free installation, and real-time temperature and performance readouts.

Triple-Mode QD-OLED Gaming Monitors and Pro Displays

MSI’s QD-OLED gaming monitors are among the most striking gaming hardware announcements at the show. The MPG OLED 322URDX36 is billed as the world’s first monitor using Samsung Display’s tri-mode QD-OLED panel, delivering three selectable performance modes: 4K at 360Hz, 1440p at 520Hz, and 1080p at 680Hz. It uses a 31.5-inch 5th-Gen QD-OLED with Penta Tandem technology, which MSI says increases light efficiency by up to 30%, and carries DisplayHDR True Black 600 plus ClearMR 18000 certifications. The MEG X QD-OLED monitor offers a 34-inch UWQHD 3440×1440 panel at 360Hz and integrates an AI agent called LuckyClaw for voice-controlled settings and profile switching. For creators, the PRO MAX 341QPXW14G and PRO MAX 271UPXW12G add QD-OLED Penta Tandem options with KVM 2.0, dual USB-C with 98W power delivery, and MSI OLED Care 3.0 for burn-in protection.

1600W Titanium PSUs and Project Zero-Ready Cases

Power and chassis design receive a major upgrade with MSI’s new 1600W Titanium PSU lineup and a Project Zero-ready mid-tower. The MPG Ai1600TS PCIE5, which earned a Best Choice Award, debuts GPU Safeguard+, a monitoring system that watches individual pins on the 12V-2×6 connector to spot power spikes or current imbalances before they cause failures. Both the MPG Ai1600TS and MEG Ai1600T PCIE5 use SiC MOSFETs and carry triple Titanium efficiency certifications from 80-PLUS, Cybenetics, and PPLP.INFO, with the MEG model adding 100% Japanese capacitors and a Cybenetics A++ noise rating. Dual native 12V-2×6 connectors feature a dual-color seated-confirmation design for safer GPU installs. On the case side, the MPG VIXTA 300R AIRFLOW PZ supports MSI’s Project Zero standard, routing power and data behind the motherboard while including a floating base, mesh front panel, and magnetic PSU cover for clean, airflow-focused builds.
