Coverage is focused on urban terrain, with priority on major cities; rural drivers may see little to no change for some time.
Yet this staggered rollout does not diminish how significant the shift is. Android Auto rarely gets major redesigns because it sits behind flashier hardware and cloud projects on corporate roadmaps, but neglecting it risks conceding the car to competitors.
