Pebble’s new shipping plans stretch across the rest of the summer. For the Pebble Round 2, Migicovsky now targets a July start for shipments, with pre-orders expected to complete sometime between July and September. The company’s help center has taken a more cautious tone, noting that mass production had not yet started and avoiding a precise date. In parallel, Android Authority reports that Pebble plans to finish Round 2 pre-orders by September, while the Index 01 smart ring should clear its backlog by the beginning of August. Pebble has manufactured 700 Index 01 units so far, leaving about 11,000 more to build before all pre-orders are fulfilled. The Pebble Time 2 remains the bright spot: shipments are described as “smooth sailing,” with the goal of finishing outstanding orders by the end of June, though Migicovsky has warned that additional delays are still possible.
