Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, 10 Pro Fold, and 10a, along with the Pixel 9 family, Pixel 8 series, Pixel 7 series, Pixel 6 series, Pixel 6a, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet, are all expected to get stable Android 17 on day one once Google flips the switch. Pixel 6 and 6 Pro receive Android 17 as their last major OS version, with support ending later in 2026, while newer flagships will continue much longer. Gemini Intelligence, the headline AI experience, is limited to devices with at least 12 GB of RAM, so the full AI feature set will mainly land on the latest high-end Pixels.

Samsung’s Android 17 update arrives as One UI 9, starting with a beta for the Galaxy S26 series and rolling out to more devices afterward. OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Motorola: Flagships First, Then Upper Mid-Range
For OnePlus users, Android 17 will arrive as OxygenOS 17, starting with the OnePlus 15 line. OnePlus has already opened Android 17 Beta 2 and 3 for the OnePlus 15, with a stable OxygenOS 17 release widely expected in early Q4 2026. That update should then spread to the 15R, 13-series, 12 and 12R, and foldables like the OnePlus Open, with most receiving the upgrade by early 2027. OnePlus 11 and Open are expected to get Android 17 as their final major OS version, while older 10-series flagships are not on the list. Xiaomi and Motorola have confirmed at least one flagship device each is running early Android 17 builds, though they have not yet published detailed public timelines. As with the Pixel and Galaxy lines, their top-tier phones with ample RAM will receive the update first, followed by select upper mid-range models.

To figure out which phones get Android 17 and when your own device is likely to receive it, start by matching your model against the current brand schedules. Pixel owners from the 6 series onward can expect day-one access, while Samsung users should check whether they have a Galaxy S23 or newer flagship, a recent A-series model, or a Tab S9 or later tablet to stay within the One UI 9 window. OnePlus users with the 12, 13, or 15 families, or recent Nord and Pad devices, are in line once OxygenOS 17 lands. For Xiaomi and Motorola, look for recent flagships already involved in beta programs.
