Willow is a new agentic access governance platform created by former Wix engineers to give enterprises fine-grained control over AI agents. The company has emerged from stealth with USD 7 million (approx. RM32.2 million) in seed funding led by Hetz Ventures and angel backing from Wix Co-Founder and CEO Avishai Abrahami and President Nir Zohar. Willow inserts a governance and access layer between AI agents and internal systems, providing agentic access control, authorizations, audit trails, and policy enforcement. Its platform connects agents such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Codex, n8n, and custom agents to more than 1,000 pre-built connectors, plus over 100 skills and plugins. Deployed across more than 5,000 Wix employees, Willow detects shadow AI, monitors risky or unauthorized integrations, and scopes tools at runtime, giving security teams autonomous agent oversight without forcing a choice between a blanket AI ban and unsafe, unrestricted access.

InfoHawk: AI Fraud Detection for a Scam-Driven Internet
Where Willow focuses on internal agent behavior, InfoHawk targets the external threat landscape: AI-driven deception and scams. InfoHawk has raised USD 2.25 million (approx. RM10.3 million) in pre-seed funding led by Moonshots Capital to build an AI platform that detects, analyzes, and neutralizes online fraud at scale via high-performance APIs. The company combines advanced content detection with deep infrastructure mapping to spot cloned websites, counterfeit goods, hijacked ads, and other deceptive assets. According to GASA.org, consumers lost an estimated USD 442 billion (approx. RM2.03 trillion) to scams in 2025, while counterfeit trade adds another USD 467 billion (approx. RM2.14 trillion) annually. AI tools are making these scams faster and cheaper, enabling brand impersonation and deepfaked employees. InfoHawk’s backers include former FTC Chairman Jon Leibowitz and platform veterans from AppNexus, Meta, GitHub, and Google, signaling strong alignment with regulatory and large-platform realities.

Why Enterprises Are Funding Governance-First AI Solutions
Taken together, Willow and InfoHawk point to a broader market shift: enterprises are now funding governance-first infrastructure alongside AI capabilities. Internally, Willow tackles the least governed attack surface in many organizations—the gateway between AI agents and critical systems—by giving security leaders visibility into which agents employees use and what actions those agents can perform. Externally, InfoHawk addresses AI fraud detection and the explosion of AI-powered deception targeting customers, brands, and employees. Both aim to close the gap between rapid agent deployment and slower-moving compliance and security processes. Their investors are not treating these tools as optional guardrails but as foundations of enterprise AI security. As multi-agent systems spread and scam losses keep rising, executives will increasingly judge AI projects not only on productivity gains, but on the strength of the oversight, monitoring, and enforcement that surround them.
