Internally, Cognition says 89% of its engineers’ committed code now comes from Devin, with the rest from local agents in Windsurf. Competitive Landscape: Can Cognition Stay Ahead of Anthropic and OpenAI?

Cognition’s new capital raises expectations as much as it strengthens its position in the AI coding agent market.
