Digital signage AI refers to software and agent-based systems that can monitor devices, automate content publishing, connect with data sources and make operational decisions with less human intervention across large screen networks. At InfoComm 2026, leading digital signage vendors focused on how AI can shrink manual workloads while keeping screens online and messages on-brand. Instead of adding isolated AI features, platforms are evolving into broader orchestration layers that cover device management, content workflows, analytics and even monetization. The show floor highlighted a clear shift toward autonomous signage operations, where systems detect problems, diagnose causes and trigger fixes on their own. At the same time, new composable architectures and Bring Your Own Model options promise to integrate enterprise AI investments without locking customers into a single vendor’s model. Together, these moves signal a new phase for content publishing automation and operational intelligence in AV.
Korbyt’s ScreenDetective and Launchpad 2.0 target uptime and easy publishing
Korbyt used InfoComm 2026 to move beyond a traditional content management system toward "operational intelligence for enterprise communications" with two new AI-driven tools. ScreenDetective focuses on reliability: it continuously checks for black screens or frozen content at configurable intervals and can initiate automated recovery actions, helping AV and IT teams resolve issues before employees or visitors notice. Launchpad 2.0 tackles the content side of digital signage AI. The redesigned authoring experience and centralized theme system let administrators enforce brand standards, while non-technical users pick templates, apply themes and publish without formal training. According to Travis Kemp, chief product officer at Korbyt, the goal is to eliminate reactive troubleshooting and specialized training by giving teams proactive intelligence and intuitive tools. ScreenDetective is already being phased into the Korbyt Anywhere platform, with Launchpad 2.0 planned to follow later in the year.
Navori’s composable platform connects content, devices, data and AI
Navori Labs previewed a composable digital signage platform that blends device management, content workflows, analytics, data integration and monetization into a single environment. A central element is Navori MCP (Model Context Protocol), a standardized connection layer linking the platform to external AI services, business apps and operational systems. This architecture is designed to support content publishing automation, performance analysis and natural-language interaction with screen networks, rather than separate tools for each task. The platform also adds native support for e-paper displays through a partnership with Agile Display Solutions and endorsement from E Ink, so operators can manage ePaper, LED and conventional digital signage from one dashboard. Navori’s Monetize module will include a new ad server for retail media and DooH, aligning campaign management and audience measurement with day-to-day network control. The result is a device management platform that treats AI workflows as first-class building blocks, not bolt-ons.
NetSpeek’s Lena platform pushes toward autonomous signage operations
NetSpeek’s Lena platform showed how autonomous signage operations are becoming practical in mixed AV, unified communications and digital signage environments. Lena is AI-native and designed to detect operational issues, diagnose likely root causes and execute remediation workflows across multi-vendor estates with little or no human intervention. At InfoComm 2026, Lena demonstrated end-to-end workflows: identifying active problems, troubleshooting across AV devices, UC platforms and network equipment, then taking corrective actions within defined guardrails. NetSpeek’s new memory framework adds historical context across rooms, devices and users so the system can recognize patterns and speed future diagnosis. In controlled environments, administrators can choose between fully autonomous fixes and approval-based recommendations. According to Erik DeGiorgi, CEO of NetSpeek, this kind of operational AI changes how organizations scale support, moving teams away from alert overload and manual dashboards toward outcome-focused automation for collaboration spaces and signage networks.

Appspace BYOM and the wider shift to flexible AI integration
While many platforms hard-code specific AI models, Appspace introduced Bring Your Own Model (BYOM) to give enterprises more control over digital signage AI and workplace intelligence. BYOM routes AI requests through a customer’s own environment and API keys, using existing investments such as Microsoft Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry or Google Gemini. This approach helps avoid vendor lock-in and can align AI choices with compliance, governance and cost policies. Beyond digital signage, Appspace is extending AI into communications, knowledge discovery, workplace services, space booking and visitor management, positioning its platform as a broader workplace intelligence layer. For digital signage and AV teams, BYOM means AI features for content publishing automation or device insights do not require switching models or providers. Together with Korbyt, Navori and NetSpeek, Appspace’s strategy underlines an industry-wide move toward composable, autonomous, and enterprise-aligned AI in screen networks.
