JUPUS Powers AI-Driven Law Firms and Secretarial Work
JUPUS has raised €13 million in a Series A round to build what it calls Europe’s first AI secretarial service designed for law firms. Its platform automates tasks such as answering client calls, structuring inquiries, preparing cases and drafting legal documents, freeing lawyers from heavy administrative workloads. The startup addresses a long‑running talent squeeze: over three decades, the number of newly trained legal assistants in Germany has fallen by more than 70 per cent while the number of practising lawyers has tripled and administrative demands have grown. According to JUPUS, its AI saves law firms more than 70 hours per month and is already used by more than 2,000 lawyers, processing over 2,000 new legal cases each day. In 2025, the company quadrupled its annual recurring revenue, tripled headcount and more than doubled both its user base and case volume.
