Computex Cases and Cooling: From Parts to Full RGB Ecosystems

Computex case and cooling announcements focus on complete RGB ecosystems, where PC builders combine cases, fans, hubs, and lighting accessories to create modular, visually synchronized systems tailored to both airflow performance and aesthetic customization. This year, NZXT and HYTE are using their Computex 2026 cases and fans to shift from single components to tightly integrated platforms. NZXT extends its established H-series with the NZXT H6 Series cases and a coordinated RGB fan lineup, while HYTE follows its Y50 RGB case with a broader set of HYTE RGB fans, smart hubs, lighting strips, and cable kits. Multiple manufacturers put RGB customization and PC case accessories front and center, emphasizing daisy-chained wiring, universal ARGB and PWM compatibility, and software control. For enthusiasts, the message is clear: the next wave of PC building is about cohesive ecosystems rather than one-off parts.

NZXT H6 Series Cases: Dual-Chamber Design Meets RGB-Ready Layouts

The NZXT H6 Series cases expand the H-series with compact dual-chamber mid-tower designs aimed at clean layouts and efficient airflow. Both the H6 and H6 RGB+ use an isolated PSU and cable chamber, a curved tempered glass panel, and angled front-right intake fans that push air directly across the GPU and CPU. Builders get 10 standardized 120 mm fan mounts, top-mounted AIO radiator support up to 360 mm, and native support for back-connect motherboards, making the NZXT H6 Series cases friendly to modern layouts. The base H6 model arrives as a case-only option for users who want to choose their own cooling and lighting. The H6 RGB+ pre-installs two F360 RGB Reverse Single-Frame intake fans, a rear F120 RGB exhaust, and an NZXT Control Hub Lite tied into NZXT CAM, creating a complete starter platform for synchronized lighting.

NZXT RGB and Ultra RGB Fans: Layered Lighting for H6 Builds

To match the H6 chassis, NZXT is introducing a broad RGB fan lineup along with higher-end Ultra RGB Fans aimed at builders who want more granular lighting control. The NZXT RGB Fans cover multiple sizes, from 120 mm up to 420 mm, with redesigned blades to improve static pressure and airflow, and fluid dynamic bearings rated for 60,000 hours. Larger F360 and F420 RGB models use a single-frame design that mounts with four screws and uses one cable per multi-fan cluster. According to NZXT, its Ultra RGB Fans add “96 individually controllable LEDs” split across a hub, outer track, and inter-fan bar strip, all managed through NZXT CAM and Advanced Lighting Mode. Users can layer lighting effects and apply nine curated NZXT presets across the three zones, turning the RGB fan lineup into a centerpiece for coordinated H6 Series builds.

HYTE THICC FR12 and FA-12 G2: HYTE RGB Fans for Performance and Style

HYTE’s move into HYTE RGB fans starts with the THICC FR12 series, the company’s first ARGB performance fan family built around a 32 mm-thick frame. Available as 120 mm single “Solo” units or 360 mm “Trio” single-frame sets, these fans ship in black or white with both standard and reverse-blade options. A Trio configuration offers up to 68 LEDs for 360-degree illumination, and support for daisy-chaining plus standard PWM and ARGB headers keeps wiring simple. HYTE also refreshes its FA-12 fan lineup with new G2 models that add fluid dynamic bearings, PWM control, and a refined hybrid blade profile. HYTE positions the FA-12 G2 as a quieter companion to the THICC FR12, giving builders a visually consistent fan set across intake, exhaust, and radiator roles while maintaining performance. HYTE’s Accessory Ecosystem: Smart Hub, Noodle Lighting, and Cable Extensions

Beyond HYTE RGB fans, HYTE is building a full accessory ecosystem designed to unify lighting and cable management around its cases like the Y50 RGB. The ARGB/PWM Smart Hub is a magnetic controller that manages four independent PWM headers and powered ARGB ports through HYTE’s Nexus software, adding a dedicated ID chip so it behaves like more than a simple splitter. HYTE’s updated ARGB Noodle LN80 strip offers flexible ambient lighting with 215-degree coverage and standard ARGB header support, making it easy to contour around Y40, Y60, and Y70 chassis without proprietary hardware. Aesthetic Cable Extension Kits add sleeved extensions for 12V-2×6 GPU, PCIe, CPU, and motherboard power leads, offered in snow white, pitch black, strawberry milk, and taro milk colorways. Together, these PC case accessories give builders a cohesive, color-coordinated path from PSU to LEDs. Image 3 best illustrates the cable extension kits.
