Sony’s Professional AV Vision at InfoComm
Sony’s InfoComm presence centers on a comprehensive portfolio of professional AV solutions that link PTZ cameras, marquee displays, and control tools into a single ecosystem for broadcast, live events, and corporate video. The company is using its booth in Las Vegas to show how PTZ cameras professional users rely on can plug directly into Crystal LED walls, BRAVIA displays, and virtual production pipelines. At booth C8301, Sony is creating experiential zones that simulate real-world environments such as corporate boardrooms, classrooms, command and control centers, retail spaces, and AV broadcast studios. According to Rich Ventura, Vice President, Professional Display Solutions, “Visitors can expect to see several new pro AV products making their debut at the show, as well as immersive hands-on experiences.” For production teams planning their next control room or stage, InfoComm 2026 Sony demos offer a preview of tightly integrated cameras, displays, and device management.
AI-Driven PTZ Cameras for Broadcast and Live Production
Sony is highlighting new SRG pan-tilt-zoom systems that push broadcast camera technology forward for hybrid events, houses of worship, and sports. The SRG-AS10 and SRG-XS10 are compact, lightweight 4K PTZ cameras that support 4K 60p and use a 1/2.8-type 4K STARVIS image sensor for clear low-light performance. With smooth pan and tilt, 10x optical zoom in 4K, and up to 20x zoom in Full HD, they address everyday production needs, from lecture capture to studio inserts. The SRG-AS10 adds AI-supported PTZ Auto Framing for automatic subject recognition and natural composition, plus modes such as Multi-person Framing for meetings and Ball Sports (Basketball) Mode for automated game coverage. InfoComm 2026 Sony demonstrations also feature updated SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 PTZ cameras with new firmware that adds Ball Sports Mode, optical image stabilization, real-time overlays, and stronger facial recognition for registered individuals.
Marquee Display Solutions for Immersive Pro AV Environments
On the display side, Sony is presenting a full range of professional AV solutions that pair naturally with its PTZ systems. The BRAVIA Professional LCD lineup now includes the BZ-P Series, with 16 new 4K HDR models spanning the flagship BZ40P, enhanced BZ35P, and core BZ30P lines in sizes from 43 to 85 inches and brightness up to 700 nits. All BZ-P Series displays feature AI-powered XR signal processing and Deep Black Non-Glare technology to cut reflections and maintain contrast in bright rooms. For large-format and stage environments, Sony is showing Crystal LED direct view LED displays, including the 4K Crystal LED CH/BH Series and Crystal LED VERONA for virtual production backdrops. These marquee displays are aimed at digital signage, virtual sets, and live event visualization where consistent color and low reflection are critical for camera-based workflows.
Crystal LED S Series and CAPRI in Virtual Production Workflows
Sony’s expanding Crystal LED family includes new mid-market options designed to make high-end visuals more accessible to professional AV and production teams. The Crystal LED S Series delivers 800 cd/m² brightness, accurate color, low reflection, and energy-efficient operation in slim, scalable cabinets tailored for corporate, education, and commercial information displays. For more demanding virtual production and stage environments, Crystal LED CAPRI offers a maximum brightness of 1,500 cd/m², a P2.5mm LED pitch, a wide color gamut, anti-reflection characteristics, and high refresh handling to keep camera images clean and flicker-free. At booth C8301, Sony is pairing CAPRI with its PTZ cameras, Virtual Production Tool Set, and XYN Motion Studio to show a connected ecosystem. This configuration helps broadcast and live event professionals plan LED stages where PTZ cameras professional users depend on can move freely without compromising image quality or tracking.
Control, Provisioning, and Hands-On Experiences at Booth C8301
Beyond hardware, Sony is bringing device provisioning, management, and control tools that tie its cameras and displays into unified professional AV solutions. Visitors can see Zero Touch Provisioning, which automates setup and app deployment without a remote control, and the Device Management Platform, which delivers alerts, insights, and automation across installed BRAVIA displays, direct view LEDs, and PTZ cameras. A free cloud Device Provisioning Tool supports rapid rollouts at scale. For control, Sony is demonstrating alignment with industry-standard and open-source solutions, plus its IP Remote mobile app for real-world integrations with minimal friction. At booth C8301, broadcast and live event teams can try hands-on demos of the latest professional camera systems, test control workflows, and explore how Sony’s ecosystem can support virtual production, AV broadcast, and digital signage projects from a single, manageable platform.
