Running on both macOS and Windows, Scout presents a chat interface with a model picker spanning providers like OpenAI and Anthropic, including GPT 5.5, and supports light-touch personality settings. Its real draw is automation: users can build multi-step routines with Zapier-style orchestration, tap a headless browser mode for faster background jobs, and work with local files to generate presentations or assist with code. Logic Apps Automation and the SaaS Layer for Enterprise AI Agents
Logic Apps Automation extends the model into Azure by turning AI automation infrastructure into a managed SaaS experience at auto.azure.com. After sign-in, compute, connectors, model endpoints, and knowledge services are already wired together, so business teams can build workflows and enterprise AI agents without assembling underlying resources. Every project receives an isolated compute boundary, with VNET integration, private endpoints, identity, RBAC, audit logging, and policy enabled by default. According to InfoQ, “Logic Apps Automation closes that gap with the security, identity, networking, and observability you need to ship, built in, not bolted on.” Agents plug in through orchestrated tools, direct calls to Microsoft Foundry agents, or managed sandboxes for existing harnesses like GitHub Copilot. Knowledge as a Service hides vector stores and embeddings behind a managed interface, shifting effort and value from runtime plumbing to governed, production-ready automation.
Commoditized Runtimes, Sticky Workflows, and Enterprise Lock-In
