What the Smart Band 10 Pro Is and Why Its Global Debut Matters

The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro is a slim, band-style fitness tracker with smartwatch-like features, combining a large AMOLED display, extended fitness tracker battery life, and advanced health sensors in a lightweight form that targets users who dislike bulky watches and daily charging. After launching in China, it is now rolling out to global markets alongside Xiaomi’s new phones, signaling a renewed focus on compact wearables. The device keeps the 1.74-inch AMOLED display size but upgrades brightness to 2,000 nits and refresh rate to 60Hz, making it easier to read outdoors and smoother to scroll. At 9.7mm thick and 21.6g without the strap, it remains lighter and thinner than its predecessor despite the bigger feature set. With this release, Xiaomi is positioning the Smart Band 10 Pro as a mid-point between basic bands and full smartwatches for fitness-focused users.

Display, Design, and the Move Toward Smartwatch Territory

The Smart Band 10 Pro continues Xiaomi’s push toward smartwatch-like hardware while retaining a compact footprint. Its 1.74-inch AMOLED display wearable now reaches up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, a major boost over previous bands and a clear advantage for outdoor workouts or bright environments. According to Android Authority, the tracker is “both thinner and lighter than last year’s model” at 9.7mm and 21.6g without the strap, matching the trend away from oversized smartwatches. Buyers can choose a standard aluminum casing or a Ceramic Edition with a sleeker, more premium look, as highlighted in GSMArena’s hands-on. Xiaomi keeps the button-less design, which means every action depends on swipes and taps, a choice some users find less convenient than having a physical power or function button but which keeps the silhouette clean and minimalist.

Battery Life and HRV Tracking Features for Everyday Athletes

Battery life is a central part of the Smart Band 10 Pro story. Xiaomi claims up to 21 days of use on a single charge under standard conditions, with around eight days if the always-on display is enabled. For anyone frustrated with daily smartwatch charging, this fitness tracker battery life target is a key selling point. Inside is a 350mAh battery, which Android Authority calls “one of the clearest advantages fitness trackers still hold over most smartwatches.” Health tracking also steps up. The band adds an updated dual-light, dual-PD heart rate sensor, continuous heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, and more detailed sleep insights. New HRV tracking features provide data on heart rate variability, allowing the band to estimate fatigue and recovery trends instead of just logging activity, nudging it closer to higher-end sports wearables.

Sports Modes, Gaming Mode, and Software Experience

On the activity side, the Smart Band 10 Pro supports more than 150 sports modes and integrates five-satellite GNSS positioning for more accurate outdoor tracking of runs and rides. Xiaomi adds a new track running mode for lap-focused training and a cycling mode that turns your phone into a live dashboard while the band handles the stats. A quirky addition is gaming mode: during gameplay, the tracker monitors stress and heart rate, vibrates when an in-game character is close to respawning, and then generates a short session report. The band runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 and now supports Apple Health syncing, dual-device notifications, and shortcut-style commands for iOS users. Dual-device syncing means it can stay connected to an Android phone and an iPhone at the same time, an unusual convenience in the budget fitness band category.

Global Positioning and How It Competes in the Fitness Tracker Market

The Smart Band 10 Pro is launching internationally with pricing of €79.90 for the standard version and €99.90 for both the NFC and Ceramic editions, according to Xiaomi’s European announcement. Although it is not officially sold in the US, Android Authority notes that earlier models were still easy to find through online retailers. The band includes 5ATM water resistance and NFC for transit cards and offline payments in supported regions, adding to its daily utility. With smartwatch-like health metrics, HRV tracking features, built-in GNSS, and dual-device syncing, it challenges both basic bands and more premium wearables that cost significantly more. The button-less design and incremental hardware changes compared with the previous Pro model may disappoint some existing owners, but for new buyers the Smart Band 10 Pro offers a strong balance of features, endurance, and price.
