DJI’s ActiveTrack 7.0 promises more reliable subject tracking, and leaks point to zoom tracking that keeps subjects locked in frame even when punching in at 3x or 6x. This addresses a classic pain point for small cameras, where zooming often undermines both stabilization and autofocus. On the image pipeline side, the 4P is said to support 4K recording up to 240fps, 10-bit D-Log or D-Log 2 for greater dynamic range and color grading flexibility, and potentially up to 17 stops of dynamic range from its 1-inch-class sensor.
