Claude Fable 5 is Anthropic’s first consumer-facing version of its Mythos-class AI model, designed to bring higher-end coding, reasoning, and vision capabilities to mainstream users while enforcing strict safety limits and structured access rules. Pricing, Trial Windows, and New AI Access Tiers
Anthropic is pairing Fable 5’s safety limits with a clear pricing and access structure that separates casual users from heavy enterprise customers. Subscribers on Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans get temporary access to Claude Fable 5 through June 22 at no extra subscription cost, but they are warned to expect high token usage. After June 23, access for those plans switches to usage credits until Anthropic folds the model back into standard tiers. For API and consumption-based Enterprise users, Fable 5 is available immediately at USD 10 (approx. RM46) per million input tokens and USD 50 (approx. RM230) per million output tokens, which Anthropic notes is twice the cost of Claude Opus 4.8. Meanwhile, the fully powered Mythos 5 continues to be sent only to approved organizations, including members of Anthropic’s Glasswing cybersecurity alliance.

Mythos 5, by contrast, remains a restricted tool for organizations that run critical infrastructure and participate in Anthropic’s cybersecurity programs.
