TravelMate P6: A 1-kilo carbon fiber laptop for road warriors

AI, security and displays tuned for hybrid work
Acer’s focus with the TravelMate P6 is not only weight, but secure AI-powered productivity for hybrid work. Running Windows 11 as a Copilot+ PC, the laptop combines Intel’s AI-accelerated cores with platform features such as Intel vPro and Secured-core PC protections. That brings hardware-based Windows security, machine learning threat detection designed to spot stealth attacks in real time, and optional extras like a chassis intrusion alarm and fingerprint reader. For meetings, the 5MP IR camera supports Windows Hello, while Acer Display Lens and PurifiedView add AI-enhanced framing and background effects. On-screen content benefits from up to a 14-inch 3K OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage, HDR True Black, Gorilla Matte Pro glass, and Variable Refresh Rate. Swift Spin 14 AI: Snapdragon X2 laptop with a flexible design
Where the TravelMate P6 refines the classic clamshell, the Swift Spin 14 AI targets users who want a thin convertible with pen input. This Snapdragon X2 laptop features a 360-degree hinge that lets it flip between laptop, stand, tent, and tablet modes, backed by an aluminum chassis that meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards. At 1.34kg and 15.9–16.5mm thick, it remains portable while adding flexibility for sketching, signing documents, or annotating slides. Inside, buyers can choose Snapdragon X2 Elite or X2 Plus processors, whose NPU delivers up to 80 TOPS for on-device AI tasks such as enhanced video calls and real-time noise reduction. The 14-inch WUXGA IPS touchscreen works with the bundled Acer Active Stylus 420 using Wacom AES 2.0, supporting 4,096 pressure levels and tilt. While detailed specifications for every model vary, Acer is clearly building a family around AI-ready silicon, modern security, and better connectivity such as Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4 on the P6.
