Logistics and ERP: AI steps in where headcount can’t scale

Cargofy’s bet is blunt: in freight, the marginal dispatcher should be a digital employee, not another hire. Its platform connects with more than 70 tools used by logistics operators and automates tasks like emailing carriers, handling documents and coordinating dispatch around the clock. The impact is already material—one dispatcher can manage a fleet ten times the usual size, while a 315‑truck fleet is saving about USD 83,000 (approx. RM386,000) per month and one customer cut yearly costs by more than USD 5 million (approx. RM23.2 million). In parallel, Qorelo is tackling a different pain: SAP’s S/4HANA migration mandate by 2027 has created a global delivery crisis, with only 8% of migrations on time and more than 60% over budget or schedule. Qorelo’s AI intelligence layer automates repetitive ERP transformation workstreams and claims a 45% reduction in delivery timelines, directly challenging the idea that only armies of consultants can handle such projects.
AI supply chain automation: Kyrok targets fragile pharma and chemical networks
If logistics and ERP show the scale of the manual problem, Kyrok shows its fragility. Many pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers still rely on legacy systems, spreadsheets and institutional knowledge held by employees who are nearing retirement, even as disruption and global competition increase. Kyrok is building an AI operating system for supply chain management tailored to these SMEs, using industry‑specific AI agents as an application layer on top of existing ERP systems. Instead of switching between ERPs and multiple applications, teams work through a single interface where AI agents support and guide workflows, capturing more than 80% of complex orders without errors in pilot projects and reducing error rates on routine tasks. One of the most quotable lines in this funding wave comes from Kyrok’s co‑founder Daniel Hofinger: “We visit production sites where order lists are printed out in the morning, carried into the next room and typed back into another system. They deserve tools from this century.” His point is not about convenience; it is about preserving critical operational knowledge before it disappears.

Enterprise procurement automation: Compri attacks the last paper fortress
Procurement has long been one of the least digitised functions in industry, still dominated by email, spreadsheets and disconnected systems that obscure spending and inflate operating costs. Compri is betting that this is no longer acceptable. Its AI-powered procurement platform is designed to act as a digital workforce within procurement and supply chain teams, centralising data from ERP systems, emails, spreadsheets, PDFs and external databases. From there, AI agents automate supplier follow‑ups, document collection, compliance monitoring and order confirmation checks, improving supply chain visibility for industrial companies and cutting administrative workload. By automating repetitive administrative work and consolidating fragmented information, Compri frees teams to focus on supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing and cost optimisation, not inbox triage. More than 40 customers are already using the platform, showing that enterprise procurement automation is no longer a theoretical opportunity but a recognised route to margin improvement. With €3.2 million in new funding, Compri plans further product development, team growth and expansion into key industrial markets.

What this funding wave says about enterprise priorities
Taken together, these four rounds show a clear direction of travel: enterprises want AI supply chain automation that plugs into the systems they already have and eliminates the manual glue work that holds operations together. Cargofy is hiring more than 20 roles to expand its logistics AI workforce model. Qorelo is racing against the 2027 SAP migration deadline, aiming to reshape ERP delivery before consulting capacity collapses.
