Cloud Rebuild is Microsoft’s most radical Windows recovery feature in years: when a PC will not boot but can still reach the Windows Recovery Environment and the internet, it can download a fresh Windows 11 image and drivers straight from Windows Update, with no USB stick or local recovery partition needed. Screen tint adds a full-desktop color overlay with six presets — Amber, Rose, Yellow, Blue, Green, and Gray — plus a strength slider, and lives under Accessibility with a Win+U shortcut. File Explorer launches faster, trimming one of Windows 11’s daily annoyances. Update pausing is where the intent becomes obvious: the old hard 35-day cap is gone, replaced by a renewable calendar where you pick an end date up to 35 days, then extend it again before it expires. Chained together, that effectively lets you pause indefinitely, but only if you keep coming back. The message is clear: Microsoft will give you more control, but on the condition that you stay engaged instead of flipping a permanent “no updates” switch.
