Expect them to feel uncomfortable at first, but that unease is the point; it means you are coordinating new timing and posture at unfamiliar speeds. Common errors include letting form collapse as soon as speed increases—overstriding, heel striking far in front of the body, and hunched shoulders. If that happens, slow the belt slightly and rebuild quality before nudging pace again. Over time, these drills create both technical and durability benefits.
