What the OnePlus Turbo 6X Series Is and When It Launches
The OnePlus Turbo 6X series is a pair of mid-range Android smartphones focused on long battery life, eye-care displays, and reliable performance, combining large-capacity batteries, MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, and dual-camera systems in designs that target users who want endurance and comfort for daily use or as family-friendly devices. OnePlus China president Louis Li Jie has confirmed that the Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro will debut next week, with leaks pointing to a June 18 announcement window. Both phones are already listed on the official OnePlus online store and Oppo Shop, confirming configurations and color options ahead of launch. According to Li, the Turbo 6X series is positioned as a strong contender in the RMB 1,500 segment, suggesting a focus on value as well as staying power. Listings on Google Play Console and TENAA further lock in most core specifications.

Turbo 6X vs Turbo 6X Pro Chipsets and Displays
On the performance front, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Turbo 6X will ship with the Dimensity 7360 Super chipset, while the Turbo 6X Pro steps up to the Dimensity 7400 Super. This Turbo 6X Pro chipset is designed to deliver smoother multitasking and gaming, and OnePlus claims it will offer a smoother software experience than rivals in the same price bracket. Display tech clearly separates the two models. The standard Turbo 6X uses a new 6.72‑inch LCD eye-care panel, expected to match earlier leaks of a high refresh rate Full-HD+ screen. In contrast, the Turbo 6X Pro gets a 6.78‑inch Samsung AMOLED eye-care display with a sharper 1.5K resolution. Both are tuned around reduced eye strain, but the Pro model adds richer contrast and deeper blacks thanks to its AMOLED technology.

Battery Capacity Comparison and Durability Focus
Battery capacity comparison is where the OnePlus Turbo 6X series stands out most clearly. The Turbo 6X carries a 7,000mAh battery, while the Turbo 6X Pro increases that to a massive 8,000mAh. OnePlus is pitching the standard model as a battery-focused phone, promising long runtimes for users who prioritise endurance over cutting-edge display tech. Earlier certification listings indicate 45W charging for the Turbo 6X, though charge speeds for the Pro have not yet been detailed. Durability is another key theme: the Turbo 6X is described as having military-grade durability and was previously tipped with an IP64 rating, plastic frame, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Turbo 6X Pro goes even further, with Li Jie confirming IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K resistance, making it one of the most aggressively sealed devices in its class for water and dust protection.

Camera Setups, Software, and Color Options
Camera specifications for the OnePlus Turbo 6X series are now largely confirmed through TENAA and official teasers. The Turbo 6X is expected to feature a 50MP main rear camera—earlier leaks name it as an OV50D sensor—paired with a 2MP depth sensor, plus an 8MP selfie camera. The Turbo 6X Pro also uses a 50MP main camera but upgrades the secondary module to an 8MP sensor, alongside a sharper 16MP front-facing camera for clearer selfies and video calls. Both phones will ship with Android 16-based ColorOS 16, aligning them with the latest software features from the Oppo/OnePlus ecosystem. Color and storage options are straightforward: the Turbo 6X comes in black, white, and green, while the Turbo 6X Pro is offered in black and orange. Each is available in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB configurations.
